Ellen Duffer is the managing editor and blog editor of Ploughshares, the award-winning publisher based in Boston, but has held positions at The Paris Review, Boston Review, The Adirondack Review, Smart Pop Books, and Donadio & Olson. She holds an MA in Integrated Marketing Communication and a BFA in Writing, Literature & Publishing from Emerson College, is a recent graduate of the Yale Publishing Course, and served as a 2017 judge for the CLMP Firecracker Awards. She specializes in content marketing and editing for the web.
Erin Jones has eight years of professional marketing experience. Before becoming the head of marketing at Ploughshares, Jones was part of the marketing and communications team at HMS, a Fortune 500 healthcare technology company, where her work earned her a Gold Quill award from the International Association of Business Communicators. Jones, who has her MFA in Creative Writing, is a freelance editor and writer, podcast host, and affiliated faculty at Emerson College.
